Suspicious messages and telephone calls

Requests to check suspicious telephone calls, voice messages, emails, SMS, letters, messages on platforms and other communications made in the name of attorney Marian Ivanov are submitted through the reporting form.
Provide the relevant information so that it can be checked whether the communication actually originated from him.

If you suspect fraud, do not wait for the outcome of this check

If you have reasonable grounds to suspect that you are being defrauded or drawn into a fraudulent scheme, report the matter immediately to the police and competent authorities in the country where you are located, regardless of your nationality. In Bulgaria, notify the nearest Ministry of Interior police unit. If you are abroad, notify the local police or the appropriate competent authority in that country.

If urgent intervention is needed, particularly where telephone fraud is suspected, also call 112 immediately in Bulgaria and the other European Union countries, or the local emergency number outside the EU.

A report to attorney Ivanov does not replace the report that you should make to the competent authorities in accordance with the applicable legal procedures in the country where you are located.
Do not wait for the attorney’s response before reporting the matter.

Attorney Ivanov HAS NOT been retained and has no authority to forward reports to the competent authorities on your behalf.

The response will be sent to the correspondence email address you provide and verify with a code, within 24 to 72 hours after submitting your request. (Please also check your email’s Spam folder.)

If you do not receive a response from the email address ivanov.bg.sf@gmail.com within 72 hours after submitting your request through the reporting form, you should treat the origin of the reported communication as unconfirmed by attorney Ivanov. Do not assume that it originated from him until you receive his express written confirmation through the specified procedure.

Inquiries submitted through the contact form and reports submitted through the reporting form receive priority consideration. Sending any correspondence to attorney Ivanov while bypassing the specified contact and reporting forms DOES NOT guarantee acceptance of an engagement or a response.

What gives rise to your suspicions?

I have read the information about personal data and request a check of the suspicious message or call described.

The controller is attorney Marian Georgiev Ivanov, Sofia Bar Association, personal registration No. 1800713910; contact: ivanov.bg.sf@gmail.com and the published contact addresses. The data is used to check whether the reported communication originated from the attorney, to respond in writing and to prevent abuse. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in protecting communications, visitors and professional identity under Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Where specific subsequent processing is required by law, the corresponding legal basis applies.

First name, last name, age and a verified email address are required under this form’s rules; the remaining information is optional. Do not provide identity documents, passwords, other persons’ codes, unnecessary third-party data or information outside the scope of the check. The form is not intended for generalized accusations or criminal dossiers concerning third parties. Email verification establishes access to the address and is not an electronic signature or identity verification.

The information and copies are sent to the attorney’s mailbox through Netlify and Google Gmail. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical signals to protect against automated activity; the report text and attachments are not sent to Turnstile. Providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; information about locations, applicable transfer mechanisms and safeguards is available from Netlify, Google and Cloudflare Turnstile. You may request specific information about applicable safeguards from the controller.

Temporary files are encrypted and removed after accepted submission; incomplete uploads are deleted by periodic cleanup within three hours. Technical receipts are retained for up to seven days. Email correspondence is retained separately for as long as necessary to clarify the report, protect rights and fulfil applicable obligations; the period depends on the purpose and any dispute. Email numbering does not include names, email addresses or report text.

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection or the competent supervisory authority. No automated decisions are made about authenticity.
